Public policy is to preserve and provide strategic rail freight sites. Network Rail has identified a replacement site and the bill includes provision for the compulsory acquisition of the alternative site, which is nearby.

No members have expressed a desire to comment on the regulations, and I assume that the committee is happy to pass them without comment.
We have considered introducing certain safeguards in response to some concerns that have been expressed, including a requirement on the police to consult the local authority.
I mentioned the health funding that came out, which is around £26 million. Locally, we have agreed that it will continue to be spent on similar projects.
