To ask the Scottish Executive how many community nurses, midwives and health visitors have to date received a mobile phone hands free set and accompanying software under the initiative announced by the Scottish Office on 22 March 1999.

It has worked hard over the last six months to design an integrated network which will be responsive to the needs of tourism businesses and visitors, and will work closely with key partners including local authorities and the enterprise networks.
That is precisely why we are providing resources for on-site and off-site facilities, depending on the appropriate choice in each school, and additional support staff to ensure that teachers are able not just to cope better but to succeed more in the classroom.
