In this meeting, the CCC made the following points on the planned changes to climate legislation:

There has also been agreement on expanded training opportunities through a strategic action plan called Next Bound of SkillsFuture; a government programme facilitating skills-related credits for individuals and companies.
Recently, I met local constituents who live adjacent to a landfill site that is being developed. They felt very alienated from the process, even though the site went through a full public inquiry.
It provides assistance for people to start businesses or to grow them and to develop sites and premises for businesses or tourism facilities to attract visitors from outside the region.
Having said that, I fully acknowledge the concern that the Environment and Rural Development Committee and others expressed that pre-screening as originally proposed might not be sufficiently transparent.
