I understand Mr Purvis's concern, but I point out that Glentress has to an extent been a victim of its own success. The number of visitors enjoying the trail has grown so significantly that it has outgrown the present site and facilities.

The integration of large and small companies revolves around the visitor experience. If a visitor travels up via air, then takes a taxi, then hires a car, then visits somewhere such as a visitor attraction, and all those experiences are good, but then experiences one lousy night, that visitor becomes almost anti-Scotland and the credibility of all the other service providers is undermined.
