To ask the Scottish Executive how many convictions have resulted from information passed to police forces by paid informants, expressed as a percentage of the total number of convictions in each year since 1997.
This has allowed for some heat network developments to “cherry pick” the best sites, which risks undermining longer term growth of networks in some areas.
Is there scope to increase the maximum penalty for people who wilfully destroy breeding sites? It would be best if I tried to explain the rationale behind the proposals as they are.
If the information is held in a dispersed fashion across the authority’s functions or sites, that comes within the scope of information that can be recovered.
