When asked about the Scottish Government's ambitions to improve access to the workplace for neurodivergent people, the Minister for Social Care and Mental Wellbeing responded that employment law is a reserved matter, but noted the Scottish Government has "sought to engage constructively with the UK Government on its employment rights legislation and its wider programme." He went on to express his hope that employers will support inclusive recruitment practices, saying:
