Table 2 shows both the number of A&E departments (core sites) and the number of smaller hospitals offering A&E services and minor injury units (non core sites) per 100,000 population, for the years 2007 to 2009.
Did Iain Gray accept responsibility for that, or does he want to give us the credit for having lower unemployment than the UK and, indeed, most of western Europe and America?
Oil Depots (Public Health) (PE936) PE936, from Simon Brogan, calls on the Parliament to urge the Government to review the public health implications of siting oil depots in residential areas in light of depot explosions in the past.
We are getting support from Police Scotland, and the operation talla information, assurance and liaison—OpTICAL—group has been set up to get us access to data.
You have been positive about having an identifiable local senior officer for liaison, and I think that I noted the phrase “building strong relationships” being used a few times.
The legal profession appears to be expressing concerns that, because of the entanglement with professional conduct rules on how solicitors relate to each other, things are perhaps not quite ready to go for the date of 8 July, which is obviously almost upon us.
I do not know specifically what those procedures are, but concerns are expressed in our report about the level of training and awareness that those staff have.
