When I spoke recently to the chief executive of North Glasgow University Hospitals NHS Trust, he told me of his determination to keep that casualty ward open for longer than had been intended and that the Royal College of Surgeons and the Royal College of General Practitioners will visit there next week.Accreditation is the key issue.
