We are quite concerned that there is a real lack of commitment to consultation with service users and survivors on the development of new services or new regulatory bodies or any of the, mostly welcome, innovations that are proposed in the bill.
We recognise that the Government has taken steps to bring in the living wage for people who work in the sector. In paragraph 26, we set out some of the Scottish Government’s plans for additional investment.
That provision is included in the bill to allow for new developments in technology. Can you comment on the changes to the composition of the Parole Board and the new term of office?
