*S6M-16652 Jackson Carlaw: Maidenhill Site Manager, David McClure, Wins Prestigious National Award—That the Parliament congratulates David McClure, who is the site manager for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland's Castle Gate development at Maidenhill in Eastwood, on winning a National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Regional Award in the Large Builder Category; understands that the Pride in the Job Awards are viewed as the "Oscars" of the housebuilding industry and David was chosen to receive the commendation from a field of more than 8,000 site managers throughout the UK; recognises that David was selected to receive the prize because of his outstanding dedication to the housebuilding project and for continually showing a determination to deliver the highest standards of homes for people and families who would move into a property at the Maidenhill development in Newton Mearns; believes that the Pride in the Job event is the only national competition across the UK with the aim of providing recognition for site managers who have demonstrated the highest standards of delivery in housebuilding; notes that the Pride in the Job Awards initiative has been running for 44 years, and considers that David's achievement in winning the Regional Award in the Large Builder Category is well deserved recognition for his excellent work at the Castle Gate development in Maidenhill.
