Patient Safety Commissioner for Scotland Bill Marshalled List of Amendments for Stage 3 The Bill will be considered in the following order— Sections 1 to 25 Schedules 1 and 2 Long Title Amendments marked * are new (including manuscript amendments) or have been altered.
The Bill page has now been updated to reflect those amendments and I summarise them below:- • Clause 93 (now Clause 99) is amended to grant the power to make regulations via the negative resolution procedure for the implementation of international agreements as they relate to law enforcement data sharing (“the power”) to ‘appropriate national authorities’. • New Clause 100 designates the Scottish Ministers as an appropriate national authority where regulations made with the power contain only devolved provisions. • Clause 108 (now Clause 115) is consequentially amended to state the procedures to be followed for regulations made by the Scottish Ministers.
In the meantime, we are continuing to work with carers and support organisations to deliver this important new benefit in pilot from the end of this year, with a national launch in spring 2024.

This could be timely given the Scottish Government's commitment to at least one new National Park in Scotland. 3. Your views on the whether the Act is meeting its objective of reducing inequalities, and the effectiveness of Local Outcome Improvement Plans and locality plans.
