To ask the Scottish Executive how many NHS sites need to be accessed by patients, visitors or staff; how many and which of these sites provide parking facilities, and at how many it provides or proposes to provide free parking.
I welcome Stuart McMillan MSP as a visitor to the committee. Before we move on to committee business, I express my thanks to Inverclyde Council and its staff for assisting with the organisation of this meeting and pulling together the programme for our visit.
NHS Provision (Visitors and Temporary Migrants) 7. To ask the Scottish Government what the annual cost is of providing national health services for visitors and temporary migrants to Scotland.
Recommendation 33 of the citizens assembly calls for “permanent mental health support liaison officers in every school”. I cannot see a response to that in the report that the cabinet secretary has introduced.
The final proposal was complemented by a summary of consultation responses, which stated that a significant majority of respondents (92%) supported the proposed bill, with 78% expressing full support and 14% expressing partial support.
