As set out in correspondence that I issued to the committee on 26 October but which was, I believe, received only yesterday, the order has no wider impact, given that it has been defined narrowly around the issue of winding up.
Although I do not expect that position to change under new ministers, the Scottish Government will continue to engage constructively and on the evidence with the UK Government.
The Scottish Government published A Consultation on the Scottish Fiscal Commission on 26 March 2015. This consultation sets out our detailed proposals for legislation to establish the commission as an independent statutory body in Scotland, including a draft Bill.

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S4W-24516 by Jamie Hepburn on 26 February 2015, what consideration was given to (a) stroke patients and (b) others in the Highlands and Islands when the decision was made to base the Scottish Driving Assessment Service at a single site in Edinburgh.
