Under the new power the Scottish Ministers may, for example, make provision about the meaning of the expression “sufficient breaks” in the Carers Act, about standards or criteria in relation to the sufficiency of such breaks, or about the forms of support that may enable a carer to take such breaks.
For example, we had one family recently whose Experian report showed that when they had filled in their form, they had not made mention of a credit card. They were refused support on the basis that they had not declared a credit card, which was seen as a source of income—I have to say that, to me, a credit card is a source of debt, not a source of income.
To ask the Scottish Government whether it has identified a COVID-19 testing system for visitors to care homes and, if so, whether it is currently being tested at any care homes in Scotland.

The SPS website has a link to the government website that provides help with prison visits and the APVS. Twelve establishments have a Visitors’ Centre which also support visitors and promote the APVS.

The report showed the following results: Celtic Connections 2016 generated expenditure of £5,537,195 from visitors from the Glasgow area and £1,732,247 from visitors from the rest of Scotland.
Quite often, when we meet with parents, they still talk about O levels or O grades, or about foundation, general and credit. They have not moved on to those other things.
