Current practice
The Committee sought written submissions from local authorities as to current practices in relation to providing information to parents/guardians about activities, including armed forces visits. A number of local authorities explained that parents were informed of the range of activities that may be offered to school pupils and would have the opportunity to raise any concerns that they may have about visits by the armed forces or other organisations.
