Future Trade with the European Union To ask the Scottish Government what the outcome was of the recent ministerial visit to Munich to discuss future trade with the EU.
If the person who receives the call recognises that the claimant needs to be visited in their house, they will know who to contact to put in place a referral so that the visit can take place.
That would show real backing for Age Scotland’s work and for Scotland’s older people. I know that Age Scotland is under new leadership with Katherine Crawford as the new chief executive.
Shipbuilding (Armed Service Veterans) I was recently privileged to visit our new aircraft carrier, HMS Prince of Wales, in Rosyth and was impressed by that fine example of British shipbuilding and assembly skills in Scotland.
In her response, the Minister referred to her letter to the Committee of 20 December, which stated –
The main reason for moving from animal welfare codes to guidance is to provide a more practical method for good practice information to be published and updated quickly in order to keep stockkeepers up to date with developing scientific evidence and the latest recommendations, and thereby better promote animal welfare.
