Shetland’s SaxaVord spaceport is part of the UK-wide effort to gain a £4 billion share of the global space market over the next seven years. The site was completed in 2022 and will support up to 30 vertical launches a year from a former Royal Air Force site.

Throughout Stage 2 proceedings the Minister frequently referenced the recommendations of the Committee and again expressed gratitude for its thorough scrutiny.
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of acres that visitors could go to instead. Thirdly, before visitors come, there is a need to be prepared, with accommodation, transport and so on.
Universal credit is, of course, significantly less generous than pension credit and comes with a host of other problems that we simply do not have time to go into today.
