I reassure the committee that there has been no further slippage. The latest forecasts show that Scottish Water continues to be on course to deliver the investment of £505 million this year, which is the same level of investment that was forecast back in the summer.
When phase 2 of the tracking system is implemented, we expect fewer questions to be outstanding for long periods. Our latest information shows that, as at the close of business yesterday, there were 197 PQs for which answers were still outstanding.
Interests Under agenda item 1, I welcome our new member, Euan Robson, who has been the substitute member for the Liberal Democrats and has now become a permanent member, and invite him to make a declaration of interests.
Mike Pringle has resigned from the committee, with effect from 24 October. We await the nomination of a new member in his place. I hope that we get somebody soon.
First, the court has acknowledged the deficit under point (a) of our legal brief, and that will be corrected shortly. Secondly, the court has explained new rule 41.5. It is suggested that we simply draw the attention of Parliament to those two issues and to the feedback that we received.
Will parliamentary approval be sought for the £210,000 expenditure that is proposed for the opening of the new Holyrood building? The matter was approved by the appropriate designated body—the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body—for which the Parliament voted.
