Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S6W-05476 by Humza Yousaf on 25 January 2022, what action has been taken to ensure that all of the families of the 22,900 children seen by NHS Lothian Paediatric Audiology during the period of 2009 to 2018 are aware (a) of the service failures identified by the British Academy of Audiology’s review of the service and (b) that their child should have a retest if there are concerns about their hearing.
