Calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to undertake an independent review of NHS Scotland complaints handling, including the independence of investigations, how findings and failings are communicated to families, how learning and improvements are demonstrated following complaints, and whether greater independent oversight of the Duty of Candour is required to ensure transparency, accountability and public confidence.
