07 December 2022: The Committee agreed to close the petition under rule 15.7 of Standing Orders on the basis that the Scottish Government have no plans to reintroduce a Right to Buy scheme for council tenants and are committed to delivering 110,000 affordable homes by 2032, of which at least 70% will be available for social rent.
