That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen charity, TLC, on being named Scottish Charity of the Year; acknowledges that the Torry-based food bank was awarded the national prize for its charity work over the years in Aberdeen; understands that TLC supports projects such as breakfast and youth clubs, befriending services, as well as the Aberdeen South Food Bank, which supports people struggling with the effects of poverty across the South of Aberdeen and surrounding areas; notes that the charity distributed over 10 tonnes of food to CFINE, Instant Neighbour and Aberdeen Cyrenians during 2022, as well as delivering over 10 tonnes across the north east itself; commends the efforts of TLC over the last two decades to make life better for the most vulnerable and isolated people in the north east of Scotland, and passes on its best wishes to all involved for continued success in the future.
