That the Parliament sends its warmest congratulations to The Furniture Project (Stranraer) Ltd on winning the Community Led Regeneration category of the prestigious 2021 SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration, which identify and celebrate best practice, innovation and achievements that improve Scottish communities; recognises that this initiative helps young people who have been long-term unemployed to gain life-changing skills and make personal progress in finding suitable future employment; acknowledges the satisfaction and pride that it provides to many people while, crucially, helping people in the community gain household goods and furniture to improve their lifestyles, and wishes this project every success in the coming months ahead.
