That the Parliament congratulates the Maryhill and Springburn constituency-based entrepreneurs, Lee Fotheringham and Nkechi First Kanu-Nwabuisi, on being awarded £3,500 and £3,394 respectively from the Scottish Government’s Social Entrepreneurs Fund, which, it believes, will help support the realisation of the important social goals of both; notes that Lee's enterprise aims to provide commercial first aid training and offer subsidised training to homeless street vendors; acknowledges that Nkechi's media production, events and training enterprise aims to channel profits into training young apprentices; notes the impact of the fund, which, it understands, has distributed £4,452,116 in 790 awards across Scotland since 2009; considers it encouraging that socially-minded enterprises are supported as an important part of the economies of both Glasgow and Scotland, and recognises the importance of such enterprises in contributing toward a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
