That the Parliament congratulates Castlemilk Community Church on securing £142,446 from The National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the five-year award will enable the organisation to continue its outreach programme supporting New Scots as they settle into life in the local community; notes that the programme will provide English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) support, community lunches and volunteering opportunities, with approximately 840 people expected to benefit each year; recognises the importance of welcoming and inclusive community initiatives in helping people build connections, develop confidence and feel at home in their local area, and wishes everyone involved continued success.
