That the Parliament recognises the generosity of Aberdeen-based social care charity VSA in assisting local third sector organisation AberNecessities with its annual Believe in Magic campaign; understands that every year during the festive period, AberNecessities aims to deliver a magical Christmas for all families across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, regardless of their financial status; celebrates the work done by AberNecessities through Believe in Magic, including the creation of gift-filled Christmas Eve boxes, which are delivered to the homes of families in need ahead of Christmas day; notes reports that AberNecessities faced difficulties in securing a venue large enough to accommodate the volunteer force needed to deliver the project in 2026; acknowledges that VSA saved the day by offering space in Ruthrieston House for use by AberNecessities; thanks the staff and volunteers involved in the Believe in Magic campaign, and wishes all involved a happy festive season this winter.
