That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Football Association East Region on receiving an Outstanding Contribution Award at the Montrose Community Trust Awards 2026; recognises its exceptional and long-standing support for Montrose Community Trust, including its investment in programmes that create opportunities through football, its role in helping to secure the future of Links Park in Montrose and its shared belief in the power of the game to make a positive difference; commends its contribution to the development of grassroots football and community wellbeing in the area, and thanks all involved for their continued commitment to Montrose Community Trust and the wider Montrose community.
