That the Parliament congratulates Walking Football Scotland as it celebrates Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week; understands that the organisation is highlighting shining examples of women and girls who are involved in walking football across Scotland, from players and coaches to referees and volunteers; considers that four internationalists, including Cindy Halliday from Saints Kirkcudbright, prove that age need not be a barrier to achieving ambitions, making memories or representing your country on the international stage; wishes all those involved every success in promoting this worthwhile cause in the future, and recognises that women’s walking football continues to grow, bringing women together through football, friendship, fitness and fun.
