That the Parliament notes the exceptional work of Bipolar Scotland since its establishment in 1992 in tackling the social isolation and stigma experienced by people living with bipolar disorder; notes the positive impact of its employment support services in helping people living with the condition to return to or remain in work or study; further notes the valuable support provided through its online and in-person peer support groups that provide opportunities for connection through sharing lived experience; recognises the unique value of self-management training and peer support in enabling people to self-manage their condition, increase confidence and reduce isolation; acknowledges the efforts of its staff and volunteers, who use knowledge, expertise and lived experience to support people living with bipolar disorder; thanks Bipolar Scotland for its more than 30 years dedicated to supporting people across Scotland who are living with bipolar, and wishes it all the best in its current and future work.
