Congratulations to Motherwell's Best Chippy

That the Parliament congratulates Sean O’Donnell, owner of Santoni Mobile Chip Van, on being named Motherwell’s Best Chippy; recognises the hard work, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit behind the success of his business, which began with a second-hand van after Sean previously operated a successful ice cream van, serving communities across central Motherwell; notes that, following the challenges and changes brought about by the COVID-19 lockdowns, Sean successfully adapted his business and established the mobile van; celebrates its achievement of reaching the final of the Scottish Fish & Chip Awards in each of its first two years of trading, competing alongside some of Scotland’s best chip shops; acknowledges Sean’s appreciation of the support he has received from local people and his pride in what has been achieved, particularly given that he started the business having never previously sold a chip, and wishes Sean, and Santoni Mobile Chip Van, continued success for the future.
