That the Parliament congratulates St Bartholomews Line Dancing Club on securing £20,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will support weekly line dancing sessions and social outings for 50 older people in Coatbridge and the surrounding area; recognises the importance of accessible social and recreational activities in helping older people to maintain active lives, develop friendships and reduce social isolation, and commends the club for its work to promote social connection, physical activity and community participation among older people in the Coatbridge and Chryston constituency.
