That the Parliament congratulates Queens Cross Housing Association on serving the communities of north-west Glasgow for 50 years; recognises the remarkable journey from its community-led beginnings in 1976 to becoming the provider of over 4,500 homes; celebrates its achievements in saving and improving existing housing, building much-needed new homes and leading the regeneration of neighbourhoods across Queens Cross; commends the association for remaining at the heart of its communities and for understanding that its purpose extends beyond housing to supporting people, strengthening neighbourhoods and creating opportunities; thanks the board members, staff, tenants, volunteers and partners, past and present, whose commitment and hard work have made those achievements possible, and wishes Queens Cross Housing Association every success as it builds on this proud legacy and continues working with its communities to shape their future.
