That the Parliament congratulates Aberdonian music producer and DJ, Vagrant Real Estate, on being nominated for the 2026 Scottish Album of the Year Award; understands that the album, Neither Collar Nor Crown, which features an all-star cast of 25 Scottish artists, with contributions including spoken word, choir and cutting-edge lyricism in both English and Gaelic, has been included on the longlist of 20 nominees for the prestigious music award; notes that Vagrant Real Estate has been releasing music independently since 2018, collaborating with local and international artists, achieving millions of streams across all platforms and featuring on national radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, 6 Music and BBC Xtra, and wishes him the best of luck on reaching the final shortlist of 10 ahead of the awards ceremony at Caird Hall in Dundee on 5 November 2026.
