That the Parliament congratulates the Sanam Tandoori, which was named Best Asian Restaurant of the Year at the Scotland Asian Restaurant Awards, on reaching 50 years of serving quality authentic Indian cuisine to the people of Falkirk; understands that, due to the hard work and dedication put in by Mohammad Anwar, his sons Nadeem, Waseem, Naeem,and Azeem, and everyone who has worked at the Sanam since 1976, the restaurant is not only popular with locals but with many who travel from further afield to try its dishes, and wishes all the staff at the Sanam the very best wishes for the next 50 years and more.
