That the Parliament congratulates Arbikie Highland Estate Distillery, at Lunan Bay in Angus, on the release of The Signature, its inaugural Single Estate Single Malt Scotch Whisky; understands that it was made using Odyssey barley grown on the Arbikie estate, distilled in 2016 and matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks; notes that just 1,000 bottles have been produced; recognises that the release brings together a decade of whisky-making with more than 400 years of Stirling family farming in Angus; celebrates Arbikie’s field-to-bottle approach, with the barley grown and the whisky distilled, matured and bottled on the family estate; congratulates the Stirling family and the whole Arbikie team on this milestone for Angus food and drink, and wishes them every success.
