That the Parliament congratulates Southesk Primary School, in Montrose, on becoming the first school in Angus to achieve Platinum status through the Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) Programme; notes that the school achieved an outstanding score of 95%, making it one of only two schools in Scotland to attain Platinum status and the highest-scoring OPAL school in Scotland to date; recognises the leadership of head teacher, Elaine Thornton, and the commitment of pupils, staff, parents and the wider school community; understands that the OPAL Programme promotes high-quality outdoor play, pupil voice and whole-school improvement; commends Play Scotland for its support; believes that Southesk Primary School's achievement demonstrates the value of outdoor play in supporting children's wellbeing and learning, and wishes the school continued success.
