That the Parliament celebrates the inaugural Millport Pride event, which will be held on 12 September 2026; acknowledges the work of the Millport Pride Committee in bringing the event to fruition; further acknowledges the support of local businesses and the wider community on the Isle of Cumbrae, as well as supporters from further afield, including Arran Pride; recognises the efforts to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and challenge the discrimination that so many continue to experience, and welcomes what it sees as an inclusive, fun and family-friendly event that showcases the positive values and inclusive spirit of the Millport community and the beautiful Isle of Cumbrae.
