That the Parliament congratulates mygovscot myaccount on reaching three million users across Scotland; recognises that more than 60% of the eligible population now uses the service, representing a significant increase from just 19,000 accounts at the end of 2014; acknowledges the work of the Improvement Service in developing mygovscot myaccount since its launch in 2014 as a simple and secure way for people to access a range of online public services through a single account; notes that the service supports access to services, including council tax, parking permits, school meals, benefits and National Entitlement Card applications; recognises its role in supporting platforms including parentsportal.scot, Visitor Levy Scotland, TellMeScotland and Young Scot, and believes that the continued development of accessible, secure and joined-up digital public services can make it easier for people across Scotland to interact with public services and access the support to which they are entitled.
