That the Parliament recognises Murdoch Kennedy's achievement of establishing and running the George Allan Football Tournament for the last 35 years; acknowledges that this Tournament is in remembrance of prolific goal scorer George Allan, born in Linlithgow and selected to play for Scotland and Liverpool FC, who sadly died from tuberculosis at the age of 22; further recognises the contribution this Tournament makes to the community by bringing pupils from the schools in the Linlithgow catchment area together; thanks Linlithgow Rose Football Park for hosting this annual event, and congratulates Murdoch for his outstanding commitment.
