Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Angus Training Group

That the Parliament congratulates Angus Training Group on celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026; understands that the Arbroath-based organisation was established in 1966 and has since provided generations of apprentices with training for careers in engineering and manufacturing; recognises what it sees as the vital role that employer-led training organisations play in addressing skills shortages, creating pathways into secure, well-paid employment and ensuring that businesses can recruit the skilled workforce needed to grow; commends Angus Training Group’s longstanding contribution to the economies of Angus and Dundee; welcomes its work aiming to equip people with the skills required by established and emerging industries; acknowledges the dedication of its staff, employers, apprentices and former apprentices throughout six decades of operation, and wishes everyone at Angus Training Group every success as the business celebrates this milestone and continues its important work.
