That the Parliament congratulates Kanav Jain on being crowned UK Young Engineer of the Year at the prestigious, nationwide Big Bang competition, for his project, AeroAid: Autonomous VTOL quadplane; recognises the support that Kanav has received from West Lothian social enterprise, First-Step-Robotics; believes that Kanav’s innovative project demonstrates how young engineers can tackle global challenges; understands that he set out to help vulnerable populations in remote regions who lack reliable road access for emergency deliveries; commends him for combining his passion for drones with smart engineering to develop a small, budget-friendly autonomous aircraft capable of rapidly delivering essential medical cargo, and wishes Kanav all the very best for the future.
