Congratulations to Community InfoSource on its 20th Anniversary

That the Parliament congratulates Community InfoSource on reaching its 20th anniversary; recognises that the Glasgow-based organisation has spent two decades supporting refugees, people seeking asylum and other marginalised communities to realise their potential and participate fully in society; understands that Community InfoSource is a community-led organisation founded on the principles of human rights, equality and inclusion, which has become a respected voice supporting some of Scotland’s most vulnerable residents; acknowledges the impact of its work through projects including support for asylum seekers’ housing rights, wellbeing initiatives and its pioneering work challenging violence against women and girls within diverse communities; commends the dedication of its staff, volunteers and trustees; thanks all those who have supported Community InfoSource over the past 20 years, and wishes the organisation every success for the future as it continues what it sees as its vital work.
