That the Parliament congratulates Riverside Scotland on its success at the Scotland Energy Efficiency Awards 2026, which were held on 12 June; highlights the organisation’s award for Large Scale Project of the Year for its Pennyburn retrofit project in Kilwinning, delivered in partnership with Union Technical Services; recognises the significant investment in homes in Kilwinning, delivering energy efficiency upgrades that reduce energy use and support residents facing cost of living pressures; notes that Riverside Scotland was also highly commended in the Housing Association of the Year category; acknowledges the positive impact of the retrofit programme in Kilwinning with residents reporting a “night and day difference” in their homes; commends the efforts of Riverside Scotland and Union Technical Services for their expertise, and welcomes their commitment to tackling fuel poverty and delivering warmer, healthier homes and stronger communities in Cunninghame South and across Scotland.
