That the Parliament commends the pupils of Calderbridge Primary School in Coltness on their recent stage performance, which showcased their creativity, confidence and dedication to the performing arts; recognises the importance of arts education in schools in supporting young people’s personal development, communication skills and wellbeing; notes that opportunities for pupils to take part in live performance can help build confidence, teamwork and aspiration; believes that school-led arts initiatives play a valuable role in strengthening community engagement and cultural participation across North Lanarkshire, and celebrates the efforts of teaching staff, families and partners who support young people in accessing and thriving within creative education opportunities.
