Motherwell Hays Travel Fundraiser for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland

That the Parliament congratulates the Motherwell branch of Hays Travel on raising £1,800 for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland through a successful ladies’ afternoon tea event held at the Moorings Hotel; recognises the efforts of Nicole Carroll, Fiona Harris, Jennifer Wilson and Jim Woods in organising and supporting the fundraiser; understands that the charity supports more than 3,500 children, young people and adults across Scotland who live with spina bifida and hydrocephalus through essential services, including family support, health advice and advocacy; notes that the fundraiser formed part of Hays Travel’s Local Community Partnership initiative, which has raised more than £177,000 for charities nationwide since 2023, and commends everyone involved for their commitment to supporting local communities and raising awareness of important health charities across Scotland.
