That the Parliament commends St Bernadette’s Primary School, Motherwell, and its Global Citizen Committee, on their outstanding fundraising efforts to support their partnered school in Malawi; recognises the dedication and commitment of the pupils, staff and wider school community in promoting global citizenship, social responsibility and international solidarity; notes that their fundraising activities help provide essential resources and educational opportunities for children in Malawi, improving their learning environment and quality of life; highlights the role of such initiatives in fostering empathy, cultural understanding and a sense of shared responsibility among young people, and encourages other schools and community groups to engage in similar projects, which can make a tangible difference both locally and globally.
