That the Parliament congratulates Forgewood Boxing Club on its impressive achievements at the King of the Ring Championship in Sweden; notes that Lewis Wardrope won a gold medal, while Carson Moffat and Andrew Sneddon each secured silver medals; recognises the dedication, skill and hard work of the athletes and their coaches in reaching this international level of competition; believes that boxing provides significant benefits, including improving physical fitness, mental resilience, discipline, teamwork and self-confidence, particularly for young people in the community, and wishes Forgewood Boxing Club continued success in future competitions and in supporting the development of boxing in Lanarkshire and beyond.
