That the Parliament congratulates Lynsey McLuckie on being named a finalist in the national Contact Awards in recognition of her extraordinary dedication to her daughter, who lives with the rare genetic condition, tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), and for her tireless work supporting other families across Scotland affected by the same condition; notes that TSC is estimated to affect around one in 6,000 live births, according to one UK clinic estimate; recognises the importance of her advocacy in raising awareness of the condition, promoting timely diagnosis, and improving support for families living with TSC, and wishes her every success as a finalist and in her ongoing efforts to champion the needs of those affected by rare genetic conditions.
