Full Throttle to Goodwood, Eyemouth High ERacing Leads the Way

That the Parliament congratulates the Eyemouth High ERacing Team on its remarkable achievement in competing at the Greenpower International Final at Goodwood Motor Circuit, becoming the first Scottish Borders school to participate at this prestigious level; recognises the dedication and leadership of team leaders Mr Paul Watson and Mr Kenneth Bender, as well as the commitment of all student team members who designed, built and raced the electric car, “Beast from the East”; commends the team for its skilful execution of race strategy and pit stops, its strong performance in the F24 Kit category, and its efforts to promote STEM education and the Jim Clark Trust and Museum; acknowledges the support of sponsors and partners that enabled the team to achieve this ambitious goal, and applauds the Eyemouth High ERacing Team for its determination, innovation and inspiring example for young people in the Scottish Borders and beyond.
