That the Parliament celebrates the achievements of Edinburgh-based contemporary artist, Trevor Jones, recognising his pioneering contribution to the convergence of fine art and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and augmented reality; commends what it sees as his groundbreaking exhibition EXPOS3D at Leith Custom House for redefining the boundaries of immersive art experiences in Scotland; acknowledges Trevor’s international acclaim as a leader in the digital art and Web3 movement, whose innovative practice has connected Scotland to a global network of artists, collectors and technologists; recognises his ongoing commitment to supporting local creativity and charitable causes through community events and arts philanthropy; acknowledges what it sees as the vital creative partnership of Violetta Palak, whose contribution has been integral to the success of Trevor’s exhibitions and community projects, and wishes him continued success in inspiring future generations of Scottish artists to explore the possibilities of art, innovation and technology.
